The Vice Chancellor for Medical Sciences of the Islamic Azad University of Isfahan announced the approval to set up the first corona molecular diagnostic laboratory at the university.

Arash Ghodoosi in an interview with a reporter of Anna News Agency in Isfahan about the establishment of the first corona molecular diagnosis laboratory in the Islamic Azad University of Isfahan (Khorasgan) said: Scientific and field work was started with the concurrence and cooperation of knowledge-based companies and professors in the field of medical sciences in university units, and the key was set up to launch the first corona molecular diagnosis laboratory in this province.

He added: "After the necessary scientific studies by Hakim Biotechnology Company affiliated to the Development Center of the Islamic Azad University, Isfahan Branch (Khorasgan), the Clinical Research Development Center of the Islamic Azad University, Najafabad Branch, provided the preparations for setting up this laboratory called Isfahan University of Medical Sciences Vice Chancellor for Treatment issued its initial approval and then it was scientifically approved by the Pasteur Institute.

The Vice Chancellor of Medical Sciences of the Islamic Azad University of Isfahan stated: Due to the ability of the specialists of this laboratory, it is possible to expand the laboratory for molecular detection of other viruses and other branches of medical diagnosis.
